A couple who visited our showroom looking for a fireplace solution that would honour the character of their beautiful traditional farmhouse while bringing a fresh, contemporary edge to their main living space.
The Brief
The living room was large, full of charm, but lacking in heat and in focal point. The clients wanted to change both. Their goal was to introduce a modern country feel, something that would sit comfortably within a period property without feeling out of place, while also providing a serious heat output for a generous sized room.

We specified the Gazco 75T, a beautifully designed fire that uniquely combines gas and electric operation within a single appliance, delivering up to 8kW of heat alongside a sleek, contemporary flame picture. To house it properly and complement the character of the property, we designed and built a false chimney breast from scratch, giving the fire a natural home within the room and adding the kind of architectural dimension that a space like this deserves.
